Fieldschool
Every year undergraduate students in the Geology Department entering their fourth year
participate in a two-week fieldschool. The location of this fieldschool
changes from year to year. Field work is an important component of
geology and students at Lakehead participate in two fieldschools during
their degree program. Located as we are on the Canadian Shield students
at Lakehead have access to both Archean and Proterozoic geology within
a few minutes drive of Thunder Bay.
